We are seeking a Manager of Project Management who is passionate about solving workforce related problems, has an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. Responsibilities: Partners with Card Tech CoS and teams across Card Tech to deliver on the roadmap, owning and directing work across teams to ensure high quality, on time delivery Drives innovation in process and execution across our portfolio Creates executive-ready presentations and materials Leads special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams Prioritize and focus leaders, specifically as it relates to people and workforce strategy. Aid the CoS in strategic planning, uncovering critical efficiencies and preventing duplication of effort. Align with leadership’s vision to direct, track, and execute key goals. Resolve escalated blockers and clearly communicate priorities to elevate team performance and ensure accountability. Work closely with all business units and functions to align operations with strategy. Influence across all levels of the organization and across organizations. Develop relationships within direct and extended team members to be able to act as an informed and helpful sounding board and thought partner. The Successful Candidate Will: Demonstrate strong communications proficiency, including across teams and organizations, and have experience utilizing oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills. Have the ability to multitask with simultaneous projects and tasks, while demonstrating urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion. Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to be goal/execution-oriented Be able to react seamlessly to change in priorities and delivery focus Be self-motivated Be capable of balancing strategy and tactical delivery Execute a strategic approach to all things especially process and operations Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or military experience At least 6 years of Project Management, Process Management, or Agile Delivery experience At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources At least 2 years of experience in stakeholder management At least 2 years of experience preparing enterprise business communications Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) 7+ years of Project Management experience 4+ years of experience in people analytics consulting 1+ year of people management experience PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (e.g. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-3, and O-1, or any other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer). Chicago, IL: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project ManagementMcLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Project ManagementRichmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
