Performs clinical pharmacy functions, including customer monitoring and consulting with other clinical team members. Reviews medication orders for appropriateness, dosing, frequency, potential interactions and possible allergic reactions. Oversees the dispensing of medications and intravenous solutions by pharmacy technicians.RequirementsEducation• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree

• PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency (or 3-years hospital pharmacy experience)
• Preferred: board certificationExperience• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency program (or 3-years pharmacist hospital experience) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Computer and keyboard skills
• Excellent problem solving & communication skills (verbal & written)
• Adaptable to changing priorities, tasks, and work schedules to meet customer needsLicensure/Certification• Licensed by MN State Board of Pharmacy
