• No. of Beds in Department: 135-bed Hospital • EMR System: Epic • Support Staff Available: CRNAs (1:3 CRNA-to-room ratio)• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage (3–4 FTEs needed monthly)

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days • Expedited Credentialing: Available for providers with a clean file (Temporary Privileges)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Pennsylvania Medical License Required • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology • Certifications: ACLS and PALS Required • Experience: Two years of experience preferred • Other Qualifications: • Must be comfortable taking occasional weekday night call (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM). • Must be proficient in regional (nerve block) anesthesia for a high volume orthopedic service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties in a hospital setting. • Administer general, regional, spinal, and monitored anesthesia care. • Perform regional nerve blocks using ultrasound-guided techniques. • Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs while maintaining a 1:3 supervision ratio. • Participate in scheduled day shifts, 16-hour call coverage, and occasional weekday night call as needed.
