Packaging & Labeling Technician I

Location: Rockford, IL 3747 North Meridian Road
Duration: 12 Months tem to hire
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr on W2

Shift : General shift

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Packaging & Labeling Technician I to support packaging and labeling operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should be accurate, organized, safety-conscious, and able to follow written procedures.

Responsibilities

Assemble, label, and package products according to procedures.
Print and verify labels and production documents.
Operate packaging and labeling equipment safely.
Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Perform quality checks and inspections.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Support other packaging and labeling activities as needed.
Work with team members to meet production goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to follow written instructions.
Basic computer and mechanical skills.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Manufacturing, packaging, labeling, or pharmaceutical experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to wear required PPE.
Ability to perform repetitive packaging and labeling tasks.
