We’re hiring a personable dental assistant to provide extraordinary customer service to our patients. Responsibilities include assisting our dental staff with examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. $25 - $28 hourly

• Give patients advice on a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile
• Get the patient area ready for any examinations or procedures by preparing equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and sanitizing and laying out dental instruments
• Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
• Perform administrative duties such as greeting patients, answering phone calls and setting up appointments for dental visits, ordering dental supplies, and handling billing
• Provide postoperative instructions to patients so they are informed about how to care for their teeth and gums after procedures to prevent infection

• Have the ability to give patients exceptional care and service
• Associate’s degree from an accredited dental assistance program required
• Basic data entry and computer skills

We provide all dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, implants, fillings, cleanings, deep cleaning, Zoom whitening, retainers, mouth guards, and veneers. We use ultrasonic scalers, digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, electric handpieces, panoramic x-rays, prophy jet polishers, and noise-cancelling headphones. We provide excellent service and care to make the patient feel comfortable.
