Senior Merchandise Planner

Overview Come join this attainable luxury fashion brand specializing in special occasion attire with boutique locations and retailers in premier shopping destinations across the country. They serve customers through their owned retail boutiques, Ecommerce, specialty wholesale partnerships, and big-box distribution. The designer lead organization is scaling and adding to their team. Role Seeking a Senior Merchandise Planner that also has merchandising experience to report to the founder. This is an onsite 4 days per week with Friday's remote. Qualifications 8+ years experience in merchandising and or planning preferrably within fashion. Proven track record managing multi-channel businesses (retail, wholesale, and/or big-box distribution) Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with planning systems and reporting tools Deep understanding of retail math including GM%, IMU, sell-through, and inventory turn Experience buying inventory for major retailers Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business strategies Excellent presentation and communication skills for executive-level stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field Preferred Qualifications Experience in premium apparel categories Background working with big-box retailers (Dillard's, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, etc.) Familiarity with off-price channels and markdown optimization Experience in companies with $10M-$50M revenue range Knowledge of allocation systems and size curve optimization #J-18808-Ljbffr Global Recruiters of Lowcountry (GRN)
