Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Bogalusa, LA Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Overview: We are seeking a mitted and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. This position involves providing speech and language therapy, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are wele to apply. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed speech and language evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' munication needs. Provide therapy sessions, both individual and group. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal setting for students. Qualifications Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP. Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but not required for CF applicants. Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
