CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. New employees of the Department of Military Affairs will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
2. New employees of the Department of Military Affairs are required to participate in a direct deposit/electronic transfer program. 
3. The Department of Military Affairs is paid on a monthly basis.
4. This position is a Cooperative Agreement position.
5. As a CANDIDATE, you are required to provide documentation (i.e., High School Diploma or Equivalency, College Transcripts, ETC.) to verify meeting these Minimum Qualifications.
6. Must be able to obtain a completion of a favorable National Agency Check background investigation clearance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent; AND
• Four (4) years of professional, full-time-equivalent experience in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Education in Business Management, Business Administration or related field may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages supply personnel to ensure all daily operational requirements are accomplished to include, but not limited to, timesheet approval, performance expectations, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, etc. Ensures staff are providing high quality customer service. Ensures all complaints or problem areas are addressed immediately and reports these issues to supervisor when they occur. Address manpower shortages during heavy training period to limit loss of productivity. Addresses productivity deficiencies as they occur to limit interruptions to training operations.
• Initiates purchase orders for stores items to ensure that inventory levels are maintained at satisfactory levels through the State and Federal supply system. Maintains an inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment. Submit invoices to purchasing department and receives and stocks items with forklift. Determines needs for additional stock items and adds them to the inventory. Maintains purchase records and prepare reports as required.
• Establishes accountability and control of all expendable and consumable materials. Research and present new inventory control mechanisms to minimize loss of inventory and maximize total dollars spent. Ensure inventory control measures are properly being utilized by all staff of Range Maintenance and ensure all personnel are properly trained on inventory requirements. Ensure personnel are cross trained in areas of inventory operations in order to assist during heaving training seasons.
• Conducts studies to determine trends in stock use, inventory mix and price structure.
• Prepare annual budgets covering salaries, operating expenses, and material usage reports.
