While the role is fully remote, the nature of our work necessitates some evening and weekend hours to accommodate our patients’ varying schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, unbiased psychosocial assessments for patients, applying your education and professional experience to identify their unique needs.

• Develop individualized treatment strategies through collaborative discussions with clients, ensuring that their treatment goals are at the forefront of the planning process.

• Implement evidence-based behavioral therapies such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving therapy. Tailor these treatments to suit the individual circumstances of each patient.

• Work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare providers from Walmart Health & Wellness and primary care experts, to deliver a coordinated and comprehensive healthcare experience.

• Continuously monitor therapy outcomes and assess patient progress toward defined therapeutic goals, maintaining thorough documentation, whether conducting sessions in-person or remotely.
\n
• Support medical practitioners in managing psychotropic medications, focusing on treatment adherence, monitoring side effects, and evaluating treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Crosscare Mental Health Clinic, you will primarily work with individuals in a detox setting, many of whom face substance use challenges and concurrent mental health disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities associated with addiction and a strong commitment to guiding patients toward recovery. You will work with a diverse client population, ensuring access to equitable treatment for persons from all walks of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Possession of a current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida is essential.

• At least one year of experience as an independently licensed therapist is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
