Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and school communities as a dedicated Social Worker. This onsite position runs from October 21, 2026, through January 21, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact over 35 hours per week.
Your expertise in school social work will play a vital role in fostering student development, facilitating positive school environments, and connecting families to the resources they need.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Social Work license with a valid School Social Worker endorsement (#071)
- Prior experience in a school or educational setting as a Social Worker is highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Compassionate, resourceful, and highly organized approach to challenges
- Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support for students
- Develop and implement strategies to promote positive social and academic outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address barriers to learning
- Assist in developing individualized support plans and resources for students
- Maintain detailed documentation as required by school and state policies
