Job Location: Naval Research Lab, Washington, DC Job Responsibilities: Join our dynamic team at Trace Systems as we seek a talented and cleared Help Desk Specialist II to play a pivotal role in supporting the prestigious Naval Research Lab (NRL). As a key member of our team, you’ll be entrusted with ensuring the seamless installation, operation, and maintenance of critical data and applications hosted by NRL, all while bolstering cybersecurity defenses. This isn’t just your ordinary desk job. Plus, with our core IT Service Desk support operating during convenient peak hours from 0600 – 1800 EST Monday through Friday, you’ll enjoy a balanced work‑life schedule that allows you to thrive both personally and professionally. Minimum Qualifications: Active, in‑scope US Government issued Secret clearance is required (Top Secret/SCI clearance must be obtained and maintained for this position). Due to the nature of the work and US Government requirements, US Citizenship is required. Must meet 8570 IAT II (Sec+) or higher. Minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience and knowledge of hardware, software, information assurance, or business analytical support. Experience must include at least two of the following areas: technical and user documentation, end‑user training, network support, information assurance or general administrative support. Must possess good interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills.
