Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: - Reading basic telemetry strips. - Experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA.

Required Credentials: - You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: - COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, general surgical, orthopedic surgical, and spinal surgical patients. - No titratable drips; Diltiazem at a set rate may be used. - Telemetry is monitored remotely; tele techs are on the 3rd floor. Monitor techs read and post strips. RNs are required to interpret strips and sign at least once a shift. - Uses BiPAP, CPAP, high flow oxygen, and some breathing treatments.

Shift & Scheduling: - 30 min unpaid lunch. - Schedules are made out for 4 weeks. Self-scheduling is used but finalized after the manager balances the schedule. - 2 weekends per 4-week schedule. - For Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving, work 2 day shifts and 1 evening shift or 2 evening shifts and 1 day shift across Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving Day. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - First to float. - May float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
