Make a positive impact on student outcomes as a School Psychologist supporting educational growth and well-being. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite throughout a district, conducting essential assessments and delivering consultative services to help optimize student achievement and behavioral health. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to address a range of academic and behavioral concerns, ensuring every student gets the support they need.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Psychology or related field
• Valid New Mexico PED School Psychologist License
• Previous experience as a school psychologist or diagnostician preferred
• Comfortable traveling between schools within the district
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive school environments

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct an average of 30-40 comprehensive evaluations for students across the district
• Provide consultative support to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding assessment outcomes and intervention strategies
• Develop recommendations to improve the academic and behavioral performance of students
• Contribute to the design and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of evaluations, recommendations, and meetings
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, supporting data-driven decisions
• Serve as a resource and advocate for student mental health needs
