We are seeking an energetic, hands-on Community Outreach & Enrollment Sales Director to operate as the frontline "General Manager" of our local growth and participant acquisition engine. In this role, you will lead from the front, overseeing an agile field team responsible for grassroots lead generation, in-home consultations, and community-based enrollment.

This is not a detached, corporate B2B corporate sales role. We are looking for an active, empathetic leader who thrives in direct-to-consumer (B2C) and grassroots community outreach , knows how to build grassroots pipelines from scratch, and takes end-to-end ownership of census growth and community engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesFrontline Leadership & People Management

• Act as the site General Manager for all outreach and intake operations, directly managing, coaching, and developing a team of frontline Enrollment Specialists, Outreach Coordinators, and field staff.
• Conduct regular field rides, observe direct-to-consumer consultations, and provide weekly 1-on-1 coaching to ensure team members consistently achieve individual and group enrollment targets.
• Foster an accountability-driven, high-empathy sales culture committed to ethical consumer advocacy and service excellence.

Grassroots Outreach & Pipeline Creation

• Build and execute localized, grassroots field campaigns to generate proprietary consumer leads directly within community centers, places of worship, cultural organizations, and neighborhood gatherings.
• Cultivate and expand local referral channels across community clinics, neighborhood networks, senior centers, and local care providers.
• Drive creative community presence through educational workshops, family information sessions, and local neighborhood events.

Intake, Enrollment & Pipeline Conversion

• Oversee the end-to-end consumer journey—from initial family inquiry and home visit scheduling to eligibility verification and final enrollment.
• Continually optimize intake workflows to shorten conversion cycles, minimize consumer drop-off, and improve family onboarding experience.
• Maintain strict adherence to state and federal healthcare enrollment regulations, privacy standards, and documentation guidelines.

Operational & CRM Leadership

• Manage daily performance metrics via CRM (Salesforce), tracking outreach activity, scheduled home visits, applications submitted, and completed enrollments.
• Deliver accurate census forecasts, manage localized departmental budgets, and collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and operational leadership to support seamless onboarding for every new participant.

Candidate QualificationsMust-Haves

• Recent Direct Sales Management Experience: Minimum of 3–5+ years directly managing, hiring, and evaluating frontline sales or enrollment personnel (managing quota-carrying field staff, coordinators, or specialists).
• Proven B2C / Consumer Sales Success: Demonstrated background in high-touch, direct-to-consumer sales, enrollment, or localized business-to-small-business (B2SMB) business development—not purely enterprise or institutional B2B.
• Grassroots Prospecting Track Record: Demonstrated ability to build grassroots demand from the ground up rather than relying solely on inbound digital marketing or pre-set corporate leads.
• Hands-On General Manager Mindset: Ready to jump into the field, handle complex family consultations when needed, and lead daily team execution.

Preferred Background

• Experience in mission-driven non-profit organizations, value-based healthcare, senior care, Medicare/Medicaid programs, PACE, community health clinics, community outreach centers, related service sectors, etc.
• Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce (or comparable CRM platforms) to manage team dashboards, conversion funnels, and pipeline metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, or related field; equivalent relevant leadership experience in lieu of degree welcome.
