CNC Vertical Mill Machinist

Twin City Staffing is hiring strong CNC vertical mill machinists to perform setups, edits, offsets, and quality inspections. If you have experience setting up and running 5-axis Okuma, Mazak, or Haas machinery, knowledge of G&M codes and GD&T, and want up to $36.00/hr. with full benefits, apply today!
Location: Fridley, MN
Wage: $22.00 – $36.00/hr. (Based on experience)
Hours: 3:00 pm – 12:00 am, Monday – Thursday (4-day workweek!)

Duties of the CNC mill machinist:
- Perform complex CNC vertical mill setups independently without assistance
- Execute tool offsets, program edits, and operate using G&M codes
- Conduct in-process quality inspections and document part dimensions according to ISO certification standards
- Collaborate with QA staff to resolve quality issues and maintain production accuracy
- Read blueprints, interpret GD&T schematics, and utilize hand tools for precise measuring
Requirements of the CNC mill machinist:
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in CNC milling and setup preferred
- Experience setting up and operating 5-axis Okuma, Mazak, or Haas machines preferred
- Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and hand measuring tools
- Experience with live tooling, multi-axis machining, Zeiss CMM, or OGP vision scopes is a plus
- Excellent attendance, dependability, and self-motivated work ethic
