The Role
We're hiring an experienced Painter to handle interior and exterior work on a wide range of projects. One week might be a healthcare facility or office build-out, and the next a new home or residential renovation. If you take pride in sharp cut lines and a flawless finish, and you treat a homeowner's house with the same care as a commercial job site, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

• Prep surfaces by patching, caulking, sanding, scraping, masking, and priming
• Apply primer and finish coats by brush, roller, and airless sprayer
• Paint interior walls, ceilings, doors, frames, trim, and cabinetry
• Paint and stain exterior siding, trim, decks, and fencing
• Apply commercial coatings as specified, including epoxies, dryfall, and high-performance coatings
• Read finish schedules and specs and match colors and sheens accurately
• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and adjacent surfaces, and leave every area clean
• Work respectfully in occupied homes and active commercial buildings
• Work through punch lists and touch-ups quickly

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional painting experience (both residential and commercial preferred)
• Skilled with brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment
• Solid surface prep skills and knowledge of paint products, primers, and sheens
• Clean, crisp cut-in lines by hand
• Comfortable on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet all day, indoors and outdoors
• Professional, courteous manner around homeowners and building occupants
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Your own hand tools
• OSHA 10 preferred; lift certification a plus
• Lead-safe (RRP) certification a plus for work in pre-1978 homes
• We'll consider helpers and apprentices who are ready to learn
