You'll work independently or alongside other installers to complete equipment replacements, new construction installations, and system upgrades while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include: Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and accessories Install ductwork, gas piping, refrigeration lines, condensate drains, and related system components Complete equipment change-outs, replacements, and new construction installations Perform system start-up, testing, charging, and commissioning Read and interpret installation drawings and manufacturer specifications Ensure installations comply with local codes and company quality standards Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and team members Maintain organized job sites and company vehicles Follow all company safety policies and procedures Mentor less experienced installers when needed and contribute to a positive team environment Qualifications Two or more years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, ductwork, refrigeration piping, gas piping, and electrical systems Experience installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality products Ability to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure proper system performance Working knowledge of low-voltage controls and HVAC wiring Ability to read blueprints, installation diagrams, and manufacturer specifications EPA Certification preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to safely lift equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions Compensation and Benefits $21.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications Incentive opportunities Health insurance Paid vacation and holidays 401(k) with up to a 4% company match Tool program assistance Paid training and continuing education Career advancement opportunities Stable, year-round employment If you're an experienced HVAC installer looking for a company that values craftsmanship, rewards hard work, and provides long-term career opportunities, Terry's Heating and Air Conditioning is ready to invest in your future.
