Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Float to HVU and PCU as needed, with a patient ratio of 1:4 in those units
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients, ensuring timely and accurate clinical interventions
• Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (currently Medhost, transitioning to Cerner)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality critical care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (must meet Texas requirements)
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU / Critical Care experience required
• Ability to start as soon as possible
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Medhost or Cerner EMR systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care environment
• Familiarity with high-volume ICU settings and floating to step-down or PCU units
