Inpatient Surgical (RN) (PT) (Days or Nights)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care on a 68-bed surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Key Responsibilities: Develops and documents individualized care plans with interdisciplinary team collaboration. Ensures effective communication of care plans across the continuum. Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs, addressing patient preferences and barriers. Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory activities, while engaging in professional development. Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety standards. Qualifications: RN license required; nursing diploma or associate's degree necessary, bachelor’s preferred. No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education levels.
