Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year Med Surg, inpatient only.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 1 year Neuro.

Special Requests: Blocked Scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements - must be listed on submission form. RTO of 5 days or less, must make up the week on the back end. Holiday RTO – can request only 1 per assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. No call. Night shift orients on day shift; traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
