Staffing Specialist

Overview Client: Established Organization Role: Staffing Specialist Pay Rate: $50,000-$65,000 Location: Long Island City, NY Language: Bilingual Spanish required Job Description: Well-established Client isseeking a Staffing Specialist to support a fast-paced recruitment environment. You'll manage recruiting and onboarding while partnering closely with HR, hiring managers, and payroll. Responsibilities Full-cycle recruiting for high-volume roles Conduct initial interviews and schedule next-round interviews Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and background checks Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations Partner with payroll and HR leadership to resolve issues Support union-related tracking and documentation Qualifications 2+ years of staffing or HR experience Bilingual Spanish required Experience in high-volume hiring preferred Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
