CMX Supervisor

A company with a world‑class reputation for safety and performance Fostering a collaborative team environment built on strong work ethics Role based in Wilmington, CA For California based roles the expected annual salary range is $92,240 - $126,830 About The Role We are looking for a CMX Supervisor to join our Project and Engineering team. In this role, you will help manage the Contractor Management process in Wilmington. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary contractor teams and internal/external subject‑matter experts (SMEs). The CMX Supervisor is responsible for onsite crane repairs and maintenance (excluding mobile cranes), elevator repairs and maintenance, and assists refinery services on major projects when available. You will schedule work for the CMX group and mentor our Designated Managers on site. Ideal candidates are self‑motivated, prefer a maintenance background, and have planning and scheduling experience with SAP. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will: Assist the CMX team in ensuring contractors understand and follow our site rules and SOPs Align with Element 7 Maintain transparency across the contractor management process Apply greater rigor in the contractor buying process Generate commercial opportunities and benefits for vendors Shift administrative activities to centralized roles Refocus RT staff time on HSE and quality supervision What You’ll Bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team 4‑year college degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred 5+ years industrial maintenance background. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office. Strong leadership, supervisory, and people skills. Participative management style in problem solving, project implementation, integration, and continuous improvement. Good written and oral communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and interface effectively with others. Driver's license.
