Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Opportunity

We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at VAMC in Wichita, Kansas to work in a full-time capacity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state license to practice as an RN
• Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must have two years of experience as an RN and one year of supervisory experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Administrative leadership, recruitment/retention efforts, and compliance of all hospital/facility policies and procedures
• The ADON provides supervision to the unit leaders, and is responsible for assisting in disciplinary actions
• The ADON provides supervision to RNs regarding policies, procedures, and patient care delivery
