Registered Nurse PICU

Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse

Provide specialized pediatric intensive care nursing services to critically ill children. Ensure high-quality patient care through expert clinical skills and compassionate support in a dedicated PICU environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medical treatments and monitor patient responses in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements with precision.
• Educate patients’ families regarding care plans, medication administration, and health concerns.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech or CPN EMR systems.
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment, adhering to infection control policies.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with active state license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital PICU RN experience.
• BLS and PALS certifications mandatory; CRRT experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a teaching hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with pediatric procedures and equipment.
