The Civil Project Manager will oversee medium-scale civil engineering projects valued between $1M and $10M, leading a large multi-disciplinary team including multiple subcontractors and a small in-house team. This role requires daily site presence to ensure smooth project execution, from planning through to completion, with a focus on quality, compliance, and effective resource management.

 

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines and budget targets
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team and manage subcontractors effectively
• Assess and mitigate project risks to minimize delays and cost overruns
• Manage contracts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and safety standards
• Allocate resources efficiently to optimize productivity
• Report project progress to stakeholders with accurate and timely updates
• Resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in civil engineering project management
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and civil engineering practices
• Expertise in risk management and contract oversight
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and other relevant software tools
• Proven leadership skills in managing diverse teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
