Paraprofessional – Behavior Support

Location: San Bernardino, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | School-Based
School Year: 2026–2027

Position Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the direction of school staff.
• Assist students in developing positive social, communication, and self-regulation skills.
• Support classroom instruction and reinforce academic goals.
• Collect data on student behaviors and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with students with behavioral needs required.
• Experience in school settings, ABA, autism support, or special education preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must meet California paraprofessional requirements and pass all required background clearances.
