Overview

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Medical Assistant performs a variety of patient care and clerical activities to assist physicians, nursing and clerical personnel. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care. This position is to support the Infusion Center's Hem Onc Lab. Responsibilities will include all lab patient registration processing and assist with patient care and triage.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year experience in pediatrics preferred (Care Partner, Medical Assistant or CNA). HemOnc experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program required. California Medical Assistant certification preferred. American Heart Association BLS required.

Schedule : Varied 8hr shifts, Monday-Saturday

Pay Scale Information

USD $47,840.00 - USD $59,696.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
