You’ll help guests order the right cake for their celebrations and make sure their orders go off without a hitch. You’ll make everyone feel welcome, and you’ll create an environment of generosity, happiness, and joy in your community. We offer flexible work schedules and a casual dress code. Accountabilities / Duties Promptly greet walk‑in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs, and follow NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience. Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise. Suggest additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete a unique celebration. Process guest orders efficiently and accurately using the point‑of‑sale system and invite guests to join the NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected. Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows, and other surfaces. Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation. Assist the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed. Help open and close the bakery including closing down registers. Learn to help build marketing email lists to help find potential fundraiser avenues. Apply now.
