Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide speech and language therapy services to residents, assessing communication and swallowing abilities, and developing individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate residents' speech, language, and swallowing functions to determine therapy needs.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each resident's condition.
Monitor progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate residents and family members on communication strategies and exercises.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid state license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Possess previous experience working in a healthcare or senior living environment preferred.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be capable of conducting detailed evaluations and documenting findings accurately.
Have the ability to work independently within a team setting.
