About the Role
Join a dynamic team as an Inventory Control Coordinator, supporting laboratory operations at client sites in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced lab environment. You will play a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient supply management, while gaining hands-on experience with integrated lab services.

Responsibilities

- Perform on-site inventory replenishments and disbursements to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Execute stockroom duties including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, and cycle counts based on customer requirements.
- Manage laboratory support tasks such as glassware processing, biological waste handling, and chemical inventory reconciliation.
- Deliver direct shipment orders to end users and perform timely deliveries as needed.
- Operate handheld scanners and work within computer systems to follow standard operating procedures.
- Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding customer concerns and potential issues.
- Maintain professional appearance and uphold service values during all client interactions.
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements while working in varied lab environments.
- Assist with other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of proven customer service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort with handheld scanners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform manual material handling tasks.
- Willingness to work in environments with chemicals and varying temperatures.

Preferred Skills

- 0-1 year experience in a laboratory setting.
- Prior experience with inventory control or supply chain tasks.
- Familiarity with lab safety protocols and PPE usage.
