Are you a self-starter who enjoys working with diesel engines and problem solving? Vermeer All Roads in Hopkinton, MA is excited to bring on a new addition as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic . This role will diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer construction equipment. If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy hydraulics & electrical trouble shooting, get ready to build a career with an awesome team! We want to hear from you today!
Compensation & Schedule
- $25-$40 per hour (based on experience)
- Production bonuses available
- Sign on bonus up to $5000 for qualified candidates
- Service, repair & recondition Vermeer equipment
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions including hydraulic & electrical experience
- Welding as needed
- Recognize and recommend appropriate repairs to the Service Manager
- Create accurate repair estimates, CDK experience a plus
- Communicate with OEM/factory for technical assistance
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and electrical diagnostic capability
- Previous experience working on heavy equipment or heavy duty trucks
- Proficient ability to document in CDK
- Detail oriented, organized, safety focused and team player
