HVAC Installer Lead

HVAC InstallerPlumbline Services is currently seeking HVAC Installers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Installers serve the customers by educating them on the available product options, removing and replacing HVAC equipment as well as installing add-on accessories when needed while providing quality work while following all applicable local and national codes. And—most importantly for you—live by.What's In It For Me?Employer sponsored Health Insurance for you AND your familyRobust PTO PlanVision and Dental plans for you and your family to choose from401K Retirement Plan with company matchLife Insurance, Short-Term, and Long-Term DisabilitySpecial Program Options: HSAContinuous Training for your Professional DevelopmentWorking in a dynamic, collaborative, and fun environmentWhat Will I Do?Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to: ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump)Maintain good working order of company vehicleMaintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customerDesign Duct Systems for Optimal Comfort and EfficiencyEngage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC system which could lead to potential accessory sales or a new system replacementUnderstand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card paymentsParticipate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentorDo I have What it Takes?2+ years' experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components such as Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Furnaces & Air Handlers, Duct Work & Zone Systems, Thermostats, Air Filters/filtration Systems, Low and high voltage wiringType II EPA CertificationMust possess and maintain a basic set of HVAC installation hand tools and be proficient in the use of testing equipment, including but not limited to wrenches, screwdrivers/nut drivers, sheet metal and ductwork tools, hammers, refrigerant gauges, manometers, magnahelic gauges, carbon monoxide detectors, psychrometers, and micron gauges. Candidates are responsible for providing their own required tools and testing equipment.Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectationsWorking knowledge of city codesService Titan experience preferredAbility to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first timeAbility to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofWe are ongoingly accepting applications for this position.
