Details Work in the IMC unit at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital Cares for medical-surgical and telemetry patients including cardiovascular and post cardiac angiogram cases Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00pm-7:30am Every other weekend required Floating required as needed Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only) required Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last 3 years in the specialty MS/Tele experience required Trauma Level II experience required, Trauma Level I preferred Epic charting experience required, ideally within the past 12 months Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start, including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and an 80% or higher overall score Skills required include IV therapy, arterial and central line management, blood product administration, PICC line care, and titration of vasoactive and insulin drips Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and ABG interpretation required Experience with wound care/wound vac and isolation precautions required Additional Information Provide direct patient care including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and rapid response/code team activation Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted References should not be included in candidate profiles Parking permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite; alternative transportation options such as bus or park & ride are available First-time travelers are not specified as accepted or excluded American Traveler Job ID P-750417.
