Radiologic Technologist Position Overview This role involves conducting routine imaging examinations in Diagnostic Radiology, both on a scheduled and emergency basis, adhering to departmental quality control and exam data integrity standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and review requisitions for diagnostic imaging procedures, extracting information from patient records to assess the appropriateness of prescribed procedures based on diagnoses and clinical indicators for routine exams.
• Identify patients in accordance with hospital policy using two identifiers.
• Select suitable equipment and technical parameters to visualize both pathological and normal anatomy.
• Assess the physical and emotional condition of patients and their guardians, developing a care plan tailored to their specific needs.
• Clearly explain the examination process and address any questions from patients and guardians regarding the procedure and radiation exposure, adhering to ALARA principles.
• Comply with departmental quality control and data integrity workflows.
• Engage in High Reliability Training practices.

Minimum Qualifications: Education:

• An Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Experience:

• Training in Diagnostic Radiology is required.

Licenses/Certifications:

• A valid MA Radiographer license and ARRT certification are required.

Salary Range:

$33.60/hour - $60.49/hour

Senior Radiologic Technologist Position Overview This position entails performing both routine and advanced diagnostic radiology imaging procedures while prioritizing patient safety, ensuring image quality, and adhering to departmental protocols. Responsibilities also include mentoring junior staff, training clinical team members, supporting daily operations, and engaging in professional development and hospital initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and complex imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, following established protocols, and maintaining high standards of image quality and radiation safety (ALARA).
• Assess and support patients and their families, customizing care to meet individual needs and fostering a positive, informed experience.
• Train and mentor staff, including fellows, residents, students, and less experienced technologists in imaging techniques and departmental standards.
• Assist with daily operations and equipment maintenance, including troubleshooting issues, managing supplies, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives.
• Engage in professional development and hospital initiatives, keeping up-to-date with regulations and actively participating in team meetings, compliance efforts, and values-based practices.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required.

Licenses/Certifications:

Salary Range:

$35.62 - $64.12/hour
