Senior Strategy Manager

Overview Salesforce is seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Manager to join the Innovation and Transformation team. The role supports strategy, growth, process excellence, and innovation, providing operational excellence and support to the Sales Compensation ecosystem (systems, tools, and processes/policies). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to re-engineer and automate systems that drive company strategy, design and scale automated workflows to eliminate manual bottlenecks, and play a pivotal role in annual planning, translating executive vision into streamlined execution. As the ideal candidate, you are comfortable at all organizational levels and possess exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills. You will use both strategic and tactical implementation abilities, work cross-functionally, and build strong internal relationships. A thorough understanding of SAAS-based compensation processes and systems (Salesforce, Spiff, etc.) and the operational aspects of the Sales Compensation process is required. Responsibilities Lead or contribute to project teams on compensation initiatives related to strategy, business process improvement, and tool development or implementation. Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical resources to ensure requirements and dependencies are understood. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities to automate manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes. Drive process improvements through automation or system integration. Make data-driven compensation recommendations and resolve related issues. Guide and conduct user acceptance testing and training for end users as projects require. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; perform well alone or as part of a team. Develop comprehensive operational playbooks, process maps, and automated workflow diagrams to standardize processes. Champion data and AI as tools to democratize insights and accelerate execution. Required Skills/Experience 7+ years of operational responsibility related to SAAS large-scale initiatives as part of a global team. 5+ years of Business Analyst or equivalent technical experience. Consulting experience is a plus. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams across complex, cross-functional environments. Proven track record of driving projects to completion and implementing process improvements that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy. Strong desire to help others with intellectual curiosity about people and organizational dynamics. Effective influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong listening abilities. Strong presentation skills with the ability to create executive summaries and presentations; proficient in PowerPoint. Program management capability. BA/BS degree is required.
