Seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, language, voice, and swallowing disorders while helping patients achieve their highest level of functional independence.

• Pay Rate: $58.80 - $68.60 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License in good standing
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care settings preferred
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide speech and language therapy services based on patient needs
• Assess and treat dysphagia and swallowing impairments
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Promote patient independence, safety, and quality of life
