Product Support Technician

Job TitleWill be responsible for performing accurate troubleshooting & diagnosing, timely repairs, and component installation on all models of Masaba equipment to ensure proper factory specification and correct system operationThis position will require the technician to work in the field as well as in Masaba manufacturing facilitiesProvides technical support over phone, email, and text to customers on maintenance and operational issuesMust be willing to work out of town, overtime, and weekendsHold follow up meeting with required personnel to discuss engineering changes and upgradesAssist with final equipment inspections to ensure MASABA quality goals are metAssist with continuous improvement of department processesWork Experience RequirementsMust be able to work safely with minimal supervision while on customer sites and in the Masaba manufacturing facilitiesMust be coachable, able to take direction, take initiative and follow through to completionMust be willing to learn and improve skill level for future advancementAttention to detail and conscientious natureStrong sense of urgency along with customer service and verbal communication skillsStrong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics system reasoning skillsGood judgment and strong critical thinking skillsValid driver's license with good driving recordMust be able to obtain and maintain a passportMust be able to obtain and maintain MSHA certificationAbility to work independently and with self-motivationMust be able to communicate clearly in EnglishAbility to work standing on hard surface (e.g. concrete) for long periods of time in hot or cold environmentMust be able to read and interpret basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic blueprintsMust be able to perform basic shop math functions and use standard measuring devicesAbility to work with hand toolsAbility to work at heights including utilizing ladders and manliftsAbility of hands to grasp and manipulate small objects/toolsLift and carry up to fifty pounds and crawl in tight spacesAbility to work at high elevationComputer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn internal business system
