Throughout your shift each day, youll collaborate with Cardiologists in both an inpatient and outpatient setting./ph3Clinical Practice Details/h3ulliPractice at our CT Surgery clinic and Intermountain Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO/liliRotating schedule with 3 total PAs, including 24-hour call coverage and weekend rounding/liliOccasional call and rounding at St. Joseph Hospital, a sister facility in Denver/liliFirst assist in cardiac/thoracic surgeries; minimal vascular case load including dialysis access/liliOn average, one case per day/liliMust have proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting/liliPlace foley catheters and invasive lines/liliTeam responsibilities include ICU/ telemetry rounding, discharges and first assist coverage for all cases/liliClinic coverage for post-op patients/li/ulh3What Youll Bring/h3pWe hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require the following:/pulliGraduate from an accredited Physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner program/liliLicensed as PA or NP in the state of CO or able to obtain/liliDEA and full prescriptive authority in CO/liliMinimum of 2 years as a First Assist PA or NP in a CT Surgery setting (please, no new graduates)/liliMinimum of 1 year experience with proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting for bypass procedures/li/ulh3How Well Support You/h3pCompensation:/pulliOur compensation consists of a base salary plus call pay (Q3 call). The salary is calculated on years of experience and can range from $140,000 - $193,000./liliAdditionally, we are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus as well as relocation, if applicable (up to $7500)./liliYou would also receive up to $4,000 annually to take CME plus an additional 5 days of time over PTO./li/ulpBenefits:/ppWe care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package.
