Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct screening procedures, and support security‑related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication that help to deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.39 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening guidelines. Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations through required documentation and communication channels. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or authorization when required, and help to deter unauthorized access within the logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, noting unusual conditions and reporting security‑related concerns to site leadership. Minimum Requirements: Supervisory experience is required. Be 21+ years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
