Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse, Long Term Care (Memory Care) — Gunnison, Colorado. Start date 08/03/2026. This travel temporary assignment spans 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.). The role supports day-to-day nursing care in a memory care unit within a long-term care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,281 to $1,325 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and supervisory nursing care during night shifts in accordance with current standards and regulations.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor for adverse effects, and document responses.
- Monitor resident status, identify changes, and communicate with the nursing team for timely interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and support rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Maintain infection prevention, safety protocols, and resident privacy; respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
- Ensure accurate charting, refill authorizations, and adherence to policies to uphold quality of care.

Requirements
- Active Colorado LPN license
- Current BLS certification; IV certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting; training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing
- Education: training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Ability to work in a memory care setting during night shifts; CAPS background check required
- Reliable transportation is advised due to rural location constraints in Gunnison
