Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a key player in a dynamic team oriented towards excellence in imaging and patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure, providing clear explanations at every turn
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of impeccable diagnostic images
• Manage and operate imaging equipment while promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately document procedures and meticulously maintain patient records within our electronic medical records system
• Stay well-informed of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practice methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Preferably, graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent organization
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• The ability to perform sonographic imaging techniques and maintain appropriate patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
