IFPC Integrated Product Team (IPT) Senior ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for an IFPC Integrated Product Team (IPT) Senior Manager to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL. This requisition has two open positions to fill:Interceptor IPT Leader: responsible for the design and program management of the IFPC Interceptor development to include preliminary design, hardware in the loop (HWIL) capability, flight testing, low-rate initial production (LRIP) and full-rate production (FRP), through sustaining activities.Engagement and Control (E&C): responsible for the design, implementation and program management of the IFPC Engagement Calculator (EC), Magazine Interface Controller (MIC), and Weapon Interface Controller (WIC) to include preliminary design, hardware in the loop (HWIL) capability, flight testing, low-rate initial production (LRIP) and full-rate production (FRP), through sustaining activities.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan.Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Huntsville, AL site.This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):5+ years of experience in a role requiring project / program management skills to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met3+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):Experience with Army concepts of operations, lower tier missile defense systems and weapon system command and controlExperience with Interceptor and/or Weapon System software design, development, implementation, and sustainment.Bachelor's or higher in EngineeringExperience working in a cross functional environmentExperience with developing and delivering presentations to Senior LeadersExperience leading agile development teamsExperience writing proposals, Request for Information (RFIs) and/or Request for Proposal (RFPs)Conflict of interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
