Lead Embedded Software Test Engineer

Salary: $135,000 - 250,500 per year Requirements:

• We need a bachelors degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, along with at least 9 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a graduate degree with at least 7 years of related experience, or 13+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• We need the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• We need experience developing tests for aerospace systems.
• We need 5+ years of experience with one or more of LabView, COSMOS, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• We need professional experience integrating and testing embedded processing systems at the software/hardware level.

• We lead small embedded test software teams to meet customer requirements within cost, scope, and schedule constraints.
• We provide technical direction, refine requirements, define user stories, and collaborate on solution design.
• We develop and design test software for requirement verification of space-based imaging payloads and embedded systems and subsystems.
• We integrate and test embedded flight systems at the software/hardware level.
• We support the creation of test plans, procedures, traceability, reports, workflows, and test case design and execution.
• We set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices.
• We work through complex test software areas across multiple systems, including automated test infrastructure.
• We document test issues and failures and analyze test outcomes.
