Base pay range $35.00/hr - $38.00/hr Duties Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including General, Plastics, Orthopedics, Neuro Spine, Vascular, OB/GYN, Urology, and ENT. Manage surgical instruments and ensure aseptic techniques are followed. Participate in call rotations, approximately 1 weekend per month and 1-2 nights per week. Float between like units as required and accommodate block schedules per manager discretion. Ensure compliance with all facility guidelines and protocols. Skills Proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures across different specialties including Vascular, Gynecology, Plastics, Neuro Surgery, Trauma, Orthopedic, Cardiovascular, General Surgery, and more. Knowledge of Aseptic Technique, Instrument Processing, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Sharps Safety, and Sterilization/Disinfection. Experience with Sterile Processing, including Assembly/Wrap, Endoscopes, Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing, and more. Familiarity with Endoscopic Procedures, Robotics, and Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in a Level 2 trauma or travel setting. Community Hospital Experience preferred. Trauma Level II Experience preferred. Certifications required: BLS, CST, NCCT. Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
