We are seeking a detail-oriented  Customer Service position in the city of Compton . This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and able to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of quality.   

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule transportation activities using EDI systems.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot escalated vendor issues by collaborating with transportation and customer service teams.
• Communicate resolutions and successful outcomes to management.
• Oversee customer correspondence, shipment tracking, purchase order validation, and order processing.
• Communicate dispatch challenges with vendors in real time to maintain consistent pickup schedules and meet customer service expectations.
• Monitor transportation activities to ensure accurate and timely service.
• Support departmental goals by delivering outstanding customer service and maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AS400 and EDI systems is a plus.
• Previous experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, or dispatch is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule: Monday–Friday - 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM - Weekend availability may be required based on business needs.

Compensation: $20 hr.
