Job Description:

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide outstanding basic nursing care to our residents on our day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) while working under the guidance of our licensed nurse supervisors.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds to ensure a comfortable living space

 

Qualifications:

• CNA license in the state of Missouri
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Basic reading and writing skills
• CPR/BLS Certification
