IT Project Manager Seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Project Manager with 10+ years of experience leading complex technology initiatives across Finance, Capital Markets, Banking, and Enterprise Technology domains. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of strategic business and technology projects, partnering closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, vendors, and executive leadership. This role requires extensive experience managing projects involving financial products, regulatory initiatives, digital transformation, system implementations, process optimization, and enterprise application delivery within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource plans, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and programs while balancing priorities and business objectives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational governance standards.
• Partner with business sponsors, product owners, finance teams, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders to define business requirements and strategic objectives.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, status reviews, and executive presentations.
• Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and escalation reports to senior management.
• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to prioritize requirements and manage product roadmaps.
• Support Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Facilitate backlog prioritization, sprint planning, release planning, and stakeholder reviews.
• Ensure alignment between business strategy and technology delivery

Risk, Governance & Compliance

• Identify project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, security, and governance requirements.
• Manage project change requests and maintain project documentation.
• Drive governance forums and support project approval processes.

Financial and Resource Management

• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Monitor project expenditures, resource utilization, and vendor costs.
• Manage internal and external technology resources and consulting partners.
• Ensure efficient allocation of project resources to maximize delivery outcomes.

Vendor and Technology Management

• Coordinate with software vendors, implementation partners, and third-party service providers.
• Support technology selection, implementation, testing, deployment, and production release activities.
• Manage contract deliverables and vendor performance.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
