Surety Bond Account Manager
Location: San Mateo (in-office) Salary : $110,000 - $120,000An independent insurance brokerage in San Mateo is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Surety Bond Account Manager to support a strong book of construction clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage all aspects of surety bond servicing for commercial construction accounts
- Review and analyze contractor financial statements and bonding capacity
- Prepare submissions and coordinate with surety markets
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
- Use Applied Epic to manage documentation, workflow, and renewals
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in surety bond account management (construction focus strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of contractor financials and surety underwriting
- Proficiency in Applied Epic
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills
- Active P&C license preferred
