Wire Forming Machine Setup Technician

JonSpring Co., Inc. is a family-owned spring manufacturing company with over 40 years of industry experience . We are seeking an experienced Wire Forming Machine Setup Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manufacturing professional looking for long-term career growth with a stable company.
Our facility utilizes modern NUCOIL wire forming equipment , all of which is less than six years old, providing a clean and efficient production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot NUCOIL wire forming machines
- Interpret engineering drawings and production specifications
- Perform machine adjustments to ensure quality and production efficiency
- Conduct first-piece inspections and maintain dimensional accuracy
- Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime
- Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance
- Maintain quality standards and safe work practices
- Work collaboratively with production personnel to meet customer deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating wire forming equipment (required)
- Experience with NUCOIL wire forming machines is highly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
