Shift Lead - Saladbar (Rocky Hill, CT) Are you ready to grow your leadership skills in a fast-paced, positive environment? Saladbar in Rocky Hill, CT, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Shift Lead to help manage our daily operations and inspire our team. What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities As a Shift Lead, you ensure the success of the shift by balancing leadership with hands-on work. Team Leadership & Delegation: Coordinate, delegate, and supervise staff tasks to ensure timely execution. Active Operations: Actively participate in all daily activities, including food prep, general cleaning (dishes, sanitizing), stocking inventory, and ensuring a smooth flow during service. Customer Experience: Provide exceptional service, interact with customers, and quickly resolve issues for a positive dining experience. Training & Mentoring: Train, mentor, and motivate team members to uphold high standards in service, quality, and cleanliness. Financial Oversight: Accurately handle and reconcile all shift payment transactions and manage cash. Safety Compliance: Ensure the saladbar is clean and organized, strictly upholding all health and safety regulations. What You Will Bring: Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who is ready to step up and lead! Certification: Must possess a current, valid ServSafe Manager certification. Experience: Previous experience in a team lead, supervisor, or management role (food service experience is a plus!). Communication: An outgoing, engaging personality with strong communication and active listening skills. Conflict Resolution: Proven ability to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently.
